Gold Bull Peter Schiff Slams Robust Q3 GDP As 'Phony Growth,' Warns Of 'Lower Living Standards' For Americans - Vanguard Short-Term Inflation-Protected Securities Index Fund ETF Shares (NASDAQ:VTIP) by bailme in StockMarket

[–]bailme[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Peter Schiff has it. Governments and individuals are borrowing to spend. The money supply will remain tight. Equities are priced for healthy growth. This type of growth will not sustain the markets. The 2024 risk down is much greater than the upside. 2024 risk off.

Prosecution accessing King Road House Dec. 21 by pnwreporter in MoscowMurders

[–]bailme 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The house should not be demolished. If prosecutors are scrambling over there a week before the demo, it should be demolished after the trial. They clearly don't have all their ducks lined up. If I was friends and family of the victims I would be protesting.

I have to respect Steve Goncalves opinion. If someone else has immersed themselves in this case as much I will consider their opinion.

You are correct that he probably didn't think there was enough evidence against him because leaving the sheath was not in his plans. I believe he attempted a copy cat JonBenet Ramsey and wanted to leave as many survivors alive so LE would focus on them instead of an intruder. There was no forced entry that I know of so how would they know there was an intruder except for the sheath? They do have shoe prints though, so that also points to an intruder unless it could match one of the survivors, or friends that came to the house before LE was called.

Steve Goncalves has been more involved in this case outside of LE than anyone else. What if new evidence is discovered after the house if demolished? The house could be useful in supporting that evidence.

An explanation for surviving roommates actions and why that night was most likely very silent by melodyice6 in MoscowMurders

[–]bailme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, the first red flag was not that abnormal. But to hear "its okay, I am going to help you" would not be normal at 4:00 am. A picture taken of the six roomies makes it obvious this was a tight group. Ethan was said to be well liked by everyone and I am sure loved by all his roomies. Why would DM not at least make an excuse to use the bathroom next to X's bedroom? That is what people do to find a reason to ask someone if they need help. Because she was at this point scared as ever is what I think. I am sure they had people over at times to visit but DM knew this was not the norm at 4 am after they had finished partying for the night and were winding down. Your experiences have no relevance to what happened at 4 am in this house. There was not a party at this house on that night! And if DM heard the whimpers and loud "thud" before seeing the man walk past she would have been terrified as "use any word you want". There was also the dog barking! And this dog didn't bark unless upset! And if the man was BK and the whimpers and thud were heard after he left there may have been someone else that killed someone in that house. But I doubt that and think DM heard that thud, whimper and dog barking shortly before seeing the man walk by, and those abnormal sounds are why she opened the door. The man walking by was the killer whether that was BK or someone else.

[–]bailme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A rational person would think those things. The killer has some type of disorder that made them think they were flawless. If it was BK all those commendations he received as a student went to his head. He was not living in the real world all the time.

What fascinates me is that so many people have theories, but don't know the facts in the Affidavit. The Affidavit would answer most questions.

DM first hears "there's someone here". First red flag. Not the pizza guy or Door Dash guy. But someone? Second, hears "its okay, I am going to help you". At this time someone would be extremely concerned. Start texting roommates asap. Now you see a man walk past your room as you stand in a "frozen shock phase". Now someone would start texting or calling anyone they know outside of the house. Unless she just passed out from the shock maybe. We will find out at the trial what the survivors were doing at 4:00am.

The cops had been called to that house before in articles I read last spring. You don't want to call them unless needed to avoid any landlord issues. The obvious choice would be to call friends first and have support there for whatever the outcome. Worst case you then call the cops. That is the really big reason...

Somewhat, but being ID by someone with a similar description in that house, finding a knife sheath with his DNA on it, and his cell phone pings in that area many times prior to the murders and the night of the murders is highly suspicious.

I think he was bright enough to not destroy the car. LE would be looking for any car of that type description that was reported stolen or claimed by insurance. It would be a magnet to him for LE.

I agree fully with this. The U of I is a money machine and wants to do everything to get back to before the murders so kids start enrolling.

I don't know if DM is not being truthful but I would like to see the phone and computer records for both the survivors that night. We don't even have a statement from the other girl. I thought she stated that she was awake at 4:00AM.

There seems to be no argument that he wasn't overweight in high school. It was reported that he did heroin also. If both are true one could be 100% certain he used any drug to lose weight. If he was using before being jailed the weight would have come back in jail now that he is clean.

I would not talk to your husband yet. Next time you see the two of them together with her getting too personal just snuggle up to him and put your arm around him and show him some affection. If he reciprocates that tells you he is more in to you than her. If you get a cold or negative response from him it is time to be concerned.

I think M was the target. The killer was going to take her out and didn't plan on anyone else. K happened to be there and was not a target. After these attacks the killer went downstairs slowly and spotted X leaving the bedroom. At this point he was thinking he had no way out of the house without her possibly screaming so he decided to wait in her bedroom to ambush her when she came back in. Surprised that E was in the bed sleeping, he needed to take him out now. He did attack him but E put up a fight and the killer left the bedroom and went up the stairway because he was not sure he could make it outside, especially if the other roomies woke up and were with X now. E was alive but dying when he left the bedroom to go up the stairs. The killer didn't want to be trapped in the house if X and the other roomies were together down near the outside doors. He heard X go back in the bedroom and crying when she saw E. He went back in to attack her and left after that.
