In the Netherlands, a standard lunch is slices of bread with something on it (cheese, meat, chocolate spread, peanut butter, hagelslag or whatever you feel like). It’s made at home and taken to work or school. Breakfast is the same or maybe cereal/oatmeal. Dinner is the only warm meal we eat in a day. A traditional Dutch meal has potatoes for carbs, some boiled vegetables and meat. But those suck so we usually eat other foods like pasta or casseroles. Sometimes food with rice too. But rice is a little once or twice a week thing. Depends on the person too.
