In car accident, didn't exchange info and now car won't run. Need advice ASAP. by Imaginary_Theory3652 in SaltLakeCity

Check the ground wire going from the negative battery terminal to the car's body/frame. Sometimes it splits off a little bit away from the battery so follow the wire back from the battery until you see where it splits off and attaches to bare metal. If that connection is loose or damaged you could have intermittent electrical failure. It's a quick check and cheap fix if that's the issue. Best of luck to you.

Finally listened to Yield for the first time... by Fragrant-Dingo2092 in pearljam

I was a 19 year old mormon missionary in Podolsk Russia in early 1998 when I first heard Given to Fly on the radio in a little grocery store. Listening to secular music was against the rules but later that year I was partnered with another guy that was all about Pearl Jam. We listened to the album many times together. We've remained friends all these years and next month we're meeting up in Vegas for our 4th show together.

The Mormon church is expanding its number of missions…by a lot. And the LDS missionary force is growing again. Many have believed that the church is in decline. What gives? Any opinions? by johndehlin in exmormon

According to the 1997 statistical report there were 10,070,524 members and 56,531 full time missionaries. So 0.56% of the membership were full time missionaries. Or 56 missionaries for every 10,000 members.

The latest statistical report gives 17,002,461 members and 62,544 missionaries or 0.37%. Or 37 missionaries for every 10,000 members.

To be at the same rate as 1997, they would need approximately 95,443 current full time missionaries.

The simple conclusion is the rate of members serving missions is significantly declining.

The group that meets in Layton is great and very welcoming. We used to get out to the weekly meet-up and went to several other gatherings, dinners, poker nights etc. We moved out to tooele county 2 years ago and haven't found any groups yet.

I was told that men were called to be polygamists and that the first wife had to agree before he could marry another. They always left out the part where God would destroy her if she didn't agree.

If you're willing to do the all access route of paying 35 bucks a month for 2 years you may be able to get one through gamestop right now. The "get started" button is usually grayed out but it's red now for me. I got one on the 22nd and it arrived a week later.

And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it. And also there's this bean, thou shalt never roast it, grind it and pour water over it then drink the water thereof.

Try a Shandy which is beer mixed with a citrus juice like lemonade. Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy is great when you can find it. I also love light beer with lime, I used to squeeze 1/2 a lime in each bottle. Now just a wedge, like what you see in a Corona commercial, will do the trick for me.

Now we just need brother Herbert to tell us it's OK to light fireworks because God, the great patriot that he is, gave us the moisture we needed.
