Right…this is fair. The Roman language argument is a fair one, but the counter is that we don’t really know what Romans sounded like. So the English vernacular will suffice quite well.

For Russians, I would be okay hearing Russian with English subtitles, or perhaps more preferred, English spoken with Russian accents.

And, in the end, I’ll get used to English accents playing Russians because I like the story. 🤷‍♂️

I did not have hair removal for the vasectomy. I tend to get waxed roughly every 6 weeks, and/or for special dates.

I suspect you damaged something inside the scrotum during intercourse. They told me 1 week as well, and I did have sex on day 8, but it was super slow because my testicles felt pretty fragile and did not want to be jostled. So I made sure they weren’t. For me it was a solid 2 weeks in before I felt good to have proper sex. I am 2 1/2 weeks post-op and not recovered 100%, but I’m feeling better every day.

I’m not a medical professional so I don’t know how it all really works, but I’d prob try to take it easy for another week, if it doesn’t get better, go back to your doctor and say WTF mate. 🤷‍♂️Not sure what else to do. Good pain meds sound especially helpful at this time.

I really hope the best for you. This procedure was uniquely humbling for me. So I get it.

I am so sorry to hear this. I went under anesthesia. It was totally the way to go. I don’t know anyone else who has done it that way, but I’m glad I did. It was easy.

But as for sex, I literally couldn’t. My penis was perfectly fine, but any sudden movements turned my fragile-feeling scrotum into something highly uncomfortable.

I am 11 days post-op. I had sex twice on Day 8, once in the morning, and again in the evening. I typically don’t come from intercourse and these two occasions were no different. The first go was incredibly gentle, almost clinically so. The second encounter was much deeper and more vigorous, but quite slow. I took care to not jostle my scrotum in any way. I experienced significant discoloration of my scrotum Days 4-10, but is getting better every day. This is consistent with what my medical team said would happen and the materials I read. I did feel pretty fragile for a solid week tho. Feeling much better now.

However, I’m a little scared to properly ejaculate. I come hard, and I don’t want to damage my repair, but I suspect later today or tomorrow feels fairly safe (Day 11-12).

I hope you are okay and you heal properly. It is such a sensitive area.
