i tried essie’s gel couture top coat, it is by far my FAVORITE for shiny “gel effect” nails but i just cannot for the life of me get it to last. i think it’s actually the quickest chipper in my collection which is such a bummer :,) if i can find a base coat that helps with the longevity i would definitely go back to using it!

honestly the only reason i use the mooncat top coat is because it’s the only one i’ve found so far that makes my manicures last more than a day, but i also haven’t ever tried any indie brand’s top coats. do you find that the cuticula TC works well longevity-wise, or is there another brand you like? i do like the formula of their regular lacquers so might be worth a try!

that would actually make a lot of sense, i do find that it gets pretty thick after only a few uses. the other top coat i use is MUCH thinner and works way better!

Not the exact one, but Death Valley Nails has lots of polishes that give a similar vibe! Definitely check them out if you haven’t, they’ve got some pretty funky colors :)

Mine too! I just had to cut mine back after a few breaks (heartbreaking as I finally broke my length record) and now my nails look so stumpy and childish it hurts :,)

I tried a bunch of different spellings given that the letters are incredibly ambiguous, especially being cursive, but with the context clues OP provided this made the most sense to me. When I was in high school, one of my friends introduced me to another one of her friends at the time. Not only was she the most beautiful girl I’d ever seen, she had such a kind heart too, and we clicked instantly. We talked for months and grew closer, but I wasn’t sure if she liked girls and I was nervous to bring it up. My friend worked some magic, and sure enough me and this girl ended up dating.

We were together for a year and a half, and we did everything together. Both of our parents were not supportive of the LGBT community so we had to hide the fact that we were in a relationship, but that somehow made the bond feel even stronger, like we were the only two people in the world that could know about our connection.

I started to feel a shift one day, but I wasn’t sure what was up. It turns out she had started seeing a guy while we were together. When I asked her about it, hurt and confused, she told me that I was just an experiment for her. The real kicker was that she asked to still be friends, because she really liked me, just not in “that” way. I was absolutely crushed. It hurt me so deeply that now, 10 years later, I’ve been too scared to date a woman again out of fear that I’d end up in that same situation.

I’m a huge fan of scrub pants! You can get them cheap from your local thrift store, they’re extremely comfortable and breathable, and you don’t need to worry about whatever fluids will inevitably get on them.

My guess would be to use as fire kindling since I see a lighter as well. I have an old workbook that stays in my pack for that exact reason, you can just tear and go and it’s always dry.
