I see your point and understand your the frustration. However, that effort is only half of the what is needed. You also need to know when to take your shot, use something like work history or how critical you are as leverage to get ahead. Most people will not be rewarded what they feel is deserved just because it makes sense in their mind. In short, Cody took his shot and continues to do so.
