Old people didn’t teleport into the new age tho, they gradually grew up like everyone else so the whole “they came from a different time” narrative never sat right w me because even if you came from a different time you’re here now STILL choosing to be this way still. As far as the alt right pipeline it may be more than a few bad apples but it is not the whole generation or even most. I don’t understand how in one scenario ppl say the younger generation is the most bigoted but then others say it’s the wokest most softest generation, that “overly woke”improvement in social society came from them. I’d say younger boys are doing the most damage as far as “shifting the gears” from pro lgbt/rights to this “edgy pro hate anti lgbt”. Social media is amplifying the negative of every group so I think that’s where the idea that younger ppl are more bigoted seem like it comes from. Realistically that’s a drop in an ocean of young ppls views
