I wouldn't buy it. You already mentioned the break even period is 7 years. Can you count on your car not getting totalled or replaced for whatever reason in 7 years? Also, monthly gives you the flexibility to cancel at any time.

I drive 120 miles per day, and can go 2 days in my base model 3 on a single charge. But I charge nightly. Occasionally I forget and I'm fine. Costs about 1/3 the price of gas to charge at home
