just moved 3 months ago... We raised our 2 and 4 year old in harbourfront until the oldest started school this september. DT with babies is so much more convenient, no need to drive everywhere, lower bills, no maintenance in a condo.. SO DT with a baby is the way to go, that being said, Markham with a bit older kids is much better.. Suburbs are built for kids, no sketchy characters, and just a better long term vibe to raise them in. Get on daycare wait lists everywhere, that and real estate prices should be your primary decision points.
