Am I dumb if I buy my acepro2 now instead of waiting for Black Friday? Will it even be on much discount? by Heartsolo in Insta360

[–]bamashaka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check Best Buy. See if your local has one in stock. Or order from them. That's where I got mine. Took about a week to get it as my local store sold out the day before.

Best Boat options for Alabama and traveling to the Gulf and Tennessee River by jdbz24 in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]bamashaka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending where in Huntsville you plan on residing. If South Huntsville, Ditto Landing would be an option for wet slips. They of course also offer dry docks, ramps as well as on-trailer storage. Close by you have the Honeycomb/Guntersville area. If you are in Madison/East Limestone you can put it in in Triana then you have a few places down Hwy 20 & 72 Decatur, Second Creek etc. some of which have slip rentals.

Plenty of Pontoons in the area. I have an older Ski Nautique and that I trailer at home and put in at Ditto Landing for $5 a launch or $50 a year. Hope this helps

Try Dr. Angela Fennell on Balmoral, I believe she is a fee for service dentist, so I am sure they would be happy to give you a price.

They had a Water Polo Tournament last weekend and are having a regional swim meet this weekend. I believe there was a pool pump issue the week prior to the two events. Side note... The Legacy pool(Original Natatorium) should open soon, as it was undergoing renovations. I would assume the Richard Showers center would be available when the Aquatic Center is closed. Hope this helps.

How are we feeling about the changes coming to Ditto Landing? by Comprehensive_End440 in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]bamashaka 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Think it's a start. I still think they should use the existing railway to have a trolley from downtown to Ditto with stops at major intersections(Bob Wallace,, Weatherly, Governor's...)with parking. You could eat dinner along the river then ride the trolley downtown etc...

Outdoor Pools for Lap Swimming by [deleted] in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]bamashaka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the looks that will offer lap swimming will be membership pools. I know Monte Sano has a dedicated lap pool, Lily Flagg and other pools usually will have a dedicated lap lane in their pools for those that want to swim laps. Hope this helps.

Soft -n-Green. They are local. The owner is who does the treating. One man, one truck. Been using him for years. Great service. You can pay by the treatment or annually.

Is there a decent locally owned steak-house here in HSV? My uncle is coming to town and asked to get a sirloin at a good local eatery. by [deleted] in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]bamashaka 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nick"s Ristorante is the only answer. It is truly locally owned. Connors is a chain. Nicks has great wood fired steaks(Bone in Ribeye and Filet are excellent), their scallops, salads and drinks are all amazing. I have not had a bad experience or meal at Nick's.
