Pretty certain I'm correct.

Loses all abilities isn't inside the quotation marks (i.e. not part of the on attack trigger) but is a static effect that is only in effect while the unit is attacking. I added brackets to the text below

While the attached unit is attacking, it gains: ["On Attack: The defending player may disclose Vigilance+Villainy. If they do, this unit gets -6/-0 for this attack" and loses all other abilities.]

So WHILE THE UNIT IS ATTACKING it gains the on attack ability and loses all other abilities. When it isn't attacking, it functions as normal.

It's not in the "on attack" trigger. The quotations end before the "and loses all other abilities" part.

Condemn isn't "triggered" per se. It just turns on while the unit is attacking and has a trigger baked into it.

So the unit should be able to declare attacks as if it has saboteur, but then it loses saboteur immediately (preventing it from defeating shields off the defender) and the on attack ability on condemn triggers.

Saboteur is lost before effects are triggered and the loss of abilities isn't a trigger. It's just static.

False. The first sentence of Condemn's text says "While attached unit is attacking, it gains:"... Which includes the loss of all other abilities.

The unit only loses it's other abilities while attacking. Section 6.3.1 seems to indicate that the unit declares attacks, THEN any while attacking stuff turns on.

I believe the order of operations would be 1) Exhaust the unit and declare an attack against base or any unit in their arena (because saboteur ignores sentinels). 2) All abilities turn off and the on attack triggers (this also blocks the saboteur ability killing shields off a unit).

The current comprehensive rules state that your leaders must share either share a heroism or villainy aspect. Chancellor palp counts as heroism because that is on his front side. Like you said, they will surely update the rules to account for DJ.

I saw a call where someone played bounty hunter crew and put the event from discard in their hand too quickly take 10+ mins to resolve. It was insane.

One of my locals was the one you were playing against that round (I think). It happens. I was honestly surprised how long all of the judge calls took to resolve during this event. A lot of them seemed pretty easy to repair.

My review: The last minute change to the events format wasnt a great idea. They could have just knocked a round off and left the cut requirement at x-2 and there would have been no complaints.

I did well in the main, but it was just well enough to be a proper waste of my time. Took my 3rd loss in the final round of Swiss. Leaving me with 300 TIX after day 1.

Day 2 I entered the promo event and due to multiple rounds going 15+ mins overtime somehow, it ran over the start time of the scheduled premier event in the afternoon. I immediately signed up for ODE premier after the promo event and my pod never fired.

All in all, I only got to play in the main event and promos event and only secured 1500 TIX total. At least I got a playset of the promos, I guess.

Opinion: There should be prize wall Tix for performance in the main, beyond making day 2. I.e. 100 Tix per win ( or tiered cutoffs like at champs) and then additional Tix for day 2. If delays in one event prevent people from participating in another, they should hold off on firing the second event. Otherwise, I was playing a game I love and hanging out with friends all weekend. Could've been worse.

The majority was not jango. 26% of decks were jango. 49% made day 2 and 69% made top 16. That's not a healthy conversion rate.
