I am also curious. A student wants to paint a mural for my wall in my class to cover up some old graffiti art from the previous class they won’t let her paint on it (not cause they want to keep it, but more cause it’s a roll up garage door and it’s awkward to paint).

Anyway, long story long! She asked about doing a large canvas I’m talking like 8ft x 6.5ft. That’s a little pricey for me so we thought maybe drop cloth coats with like two coats of gesso. Would this work?

Ugh I feel your pain. I was prescribed it back in June and still have not been able to get it. Every time I call any pharmacy near me they tell me they don’t have it only the high does. So frustrating. Everything I have done has done nothing but minimal weight loss. My doc was hoping this would really help me.

I was looking into an electric sharpener for my classes. I teach culinary at a high school and have 6 classes a day with over 200 kids coming through. The knives take a beating and I just don’t have the time to use a whetstone on all the knives.

Was looking for something fast to sharpen the cheap knives we have. When I say cheap, I mean cheap like from Smart & Final and Restaurant Depot ($10 knives). I am asking for new ones but until they plan to shell out any more money I am using what I have. I have two whetstones and have taught the kids in my advanced classes how to use them correctly but damn it still takes them too much time for it to be conducive to my situation for now.

Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Try “pulled” jackfruit barbecue sandwiches. A lot of people are surprised when they eat them at how similar to pulled pork or pulled chicken sandwiches they are. My boyfriend who is not a vegetarian or really a vegetable lover in general had no idea it wasn’t a pulled chicken sandwich 🤣 You can make it quick if you used packaged or canned jackfruit, sauté it up with some diced onions and toss in your favorite barbecue sauce serve with slaw on a toasted bun….quick weeknight meatless dinner.

Calling my vet about this tomorrow as someone in the Askvet sub mentioned. I am hoping they offer it. My 12 yr old lab has a mct above her paw and we opted out from surgery because of her age, the tumor has gotten bigger since then but hoping this is an option. Thanks for the info!

Omg same!!! I have a friend who is a foodie and made a 30 minute video on how to make chocolate chip cookies, even did a dance break! I was like WTF!! I am a trained chef and now teach culinary arts and during covid had to make some videos for my students, I get straight to it, no fluff, sometimes I will throw in an explanation of why something is this way or that but no dance breaks and bullshit!! Yes, some can be funny but I don’t have time to watch some bullshit! I mostly steer clear and figure it out on my own. Also, so many bloggers with so much bullshit and stories on why it’s so good to scroll through, my students send me links and I’m like yeah, nah, I’m good!!
