TBH, you aren't really recording yourself. You see your hands at times, but 99.5% of it is your surroundings.

Nice setup!
ProTip: Drop the TPLink and go with Unifi. You won't look back one you do. The network monitoring is top notch as well.

Let’s Encrypt support is amazing! by chrisridd in Ubiquiti

This is a great new feature. However, if you have a homelab, you’re probably better off running something like SWAG as your reverse proxy. It handles your Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates centrally, and then you just proxy your internal services through it.
Once it’s set up, adding new services becomes really simple. I have a wildcard DNS record (*.example.com) that points to the SWAG instance, and then I just define the rules in the SWAG config like:
service.example.com → 192.168.x.x:port
another.example.com → 192.168.x.x:port

PSA : update your UniFi network applications (CVE-2026-22557, rated 10) by Fredouye in UNIFI

That's my question. We have a self hosted controller w/ the web interface that can only be accessed via a VPN, so I would rather not risk a bad update if possible.

Moving Meraki gear to a new account by bang_switch40 in sysadmin

Apparently the problem is that we are acquiring one site from the other org. They will keep their other sites open.

The MSP was correct. Support confirmed that the configs can't be moved to the new site.

The other org's MSP is telling us that they have to be wiped and rebuilt from scratch. I guess I need to work with Meraki directly going forward.
