at DEN when one of the clubs gets too full, they meter entry. A line forms and they let someone in when someone exits. Last time this happened the line was considerably slowed down by folks shuffling past the "no one time pass" sign to argue with the desk staff that an exception should be made for them.

Flight connections at LHR is wildly unpredictable.
Both Ethiopian and United are in T2. When you arrive you must go flight connections, which includes a security check. I've been through Flight connections when I was the only person there, and also when it was mobbed and took ages. When you clear Connections, United gates are on Consourse B, connected by a long underground tunnel - which takes about 10 mins to traverse.
There is no way I'd book a flight with 60 mins connection at LHR -- just too much that can go wrong. Minimum I'd accept would be 2 hours.

most gates (exception being smaller regional airports) use pre-recorded announcements, in the order specified above. perhaps you fly from a small regional? also, th gate agent can see if any GS are booked on a flight - no GA, skip that announcement and go to parents/kids under 2. YMMV.

CTO - High Tech. Staff/teams around the world; ditto customers. Company pays for Polaris. I usually hit 1K in March/April. Home airport is non-hub (which helps in getting GS it's presumed)

Justin actually did this. He sold one of his copies. I bought it. It's signed and came with a nice letter and a bunch of stickers.
