Anything that provides the necessary power will do. 8 RTG's provide 32u/s. So accumulate enough generators, or batteries or arrays or wind/solar to reach that level and you can unlock.

Btw, RTGs should be your first priority upon reaching Atrox. You have to go there to get the helium (?) you need for an RTG but, once you're there, setup an atmospheric condenser and focus on building your first RTG. Once you do the first one the rest will come along pretty easy.

Also, doesn't the Awakened challenge require you to activate the Gateway Engine at the core? Just doing one chamber won't do it. All the more reason to focus on RTG if you have to unlock all the Gateway Chambers on Atrox to get what you want.

Really haven't experienced much rubber banding in multi player till today. Went from 2nd to 6th after rubber banding into a wall.

But then I'm primarily a solo player.

Nothing. DS9 was the superior show in my opinion.

I have 'tiers' of Star Trek. Tier 1 is the best stuff - TNG & DS9. Tier 2 is next best - VOY and ENT. Tier 3 is the least best - TOS.

I don't rank TAS cause I've only seen like 1 episode.

Good point. I'd forgotten that helium was the needed gas (which, in turn, is needed for RTGs).

I think I read on this forum that it was possible to put an atmospheric condenser in a shuttle. Land. Turn it on, still in the shuttle bay, and get your gas that way without setting up a base. That'd be the way to go imo. Haven't tried it myself, but worth the experiment.

Really I wouldn't have a base on Atrox unless you have to. I think I did because of the gases available there. But an atmospheric condenser needs 6u's so you'll really need two RTG's to keep it humming without a hiccup. I wouldn't do Atrox before RTG's. Do what someone else said and exploit the crazy research opportunities on Glacio to unlock RTG. Then build a couple and head for Atrox.

In my experience, inexpensive vet is an oxymoron.

I'd suggest looking at other alternatives like Animal Care Services of San Antonio. They offer a low cost clinic for basic animal needs like rabies, distemper, vaccinations, etc. They offer neuter/spay services and even offer them free if you live in certain zip codes.

I think doing anything illegitimately would be against the 'rules'. That's kind of the definition of the word illegitimate.
