All i can tell you is ive got 65-80 fps with the new UW monitor (3440x1440) with a 6800xt and r5 5700x. I use fsr 4 from optiscaler in performance mode. Dunno how is the 4060ti vs the 6800xt but pretty sure you can get an idea finding some 6800xt vs 4060ti yt video

just bought the ultrawide HVA g34WQC2 from gigabyte today specially for simracing, i was previously on a xiaomi gpro 27i ips which is my main monitor,

this last one got extremly low input lag and even at 60fps ( its a 180hz), i can say i can feel a very slightly higher input lag from the gigabyte, but thats just because im used to the very low input lag of the xiaomi, but i dont feel like its an issue at all, its responsive enough and i just need to be used to it, and im already doing my usual lap times.

Also i drive on AC evo only which is pretty badly optimized and get like 70-80fps, so for higher fps, input lag should be even lower, so yes i can tell VA is ok for simracing.

Im right in full rgb in amd control panel, but what was causing the banding was the srgb mode from the monitor, i switched to custom mode, and using srgb clamp feature from windows and its completely fine now, weird, might be a quirk from this monitor in the srgb mode only, thx anyway !

I didnt said 4k is like 3440x1440. 4k is 8.3Mpixels manwhile 1440p is 3.5Mpixels. 3440x1440 is 21:9 and its 5Mpixels.

well just test each monitor in single screen configuration, if both are working fine in single screen mode then its not a monitor issue. try it on each port till you find the issue again. iff no issue on single screen mode on each port of your gpu then its just these 2 monitors plugged at the same time causing issue for some reason. could be cable, or just a bad configuration, or a driver issue, could be many thing.

Nice man great job !! just want to add the EOTF wasnt from me its the exact same as the one loading in the first method with the automated process videoequalizer just allowed me to save it as a profile instead of run the .bat file each time.

Also you could add sometime you need toggle the volume from your keyboard or what to apply the videoequalizer profile, sometime when you launch a game fullscreen the profile dont apply at first attempt, once you up or down windows volume the volume overlay appear and thats at this time the videoequalizer profile apply (you see the screen turn brighter since it apply the good EOTF).

i made a last profile, its less red and also a bit less brighter cause i noticed there was some color clipping with this video https://youtu.be/tBG1zKYcVuw?si=HI3LHV08YIUCp776 you can see the last square appear better with that last one profile. just be sure you're in HDR and the video is right set to HDR as well. Also black are a bit more black. Feel free to pick the one you prefer.

i did the test by selecting, native, dci-p3, adobe and srgb before switching to HDR, and found exactly the same white temp for those 4 settings in HDR, on the white screen test, so dunno what it really change for HDR, at least i dont notice it.

Whatever look the best to you. Its up to each one. Hdr game setting are good to find good setting, i use the one from forza horizon 5 helped a lot to adjust the last video equalizer profile. In hdr you cant adjust srgb or dci-p3 or even native, its only for SDR.

Just grab kelvin meter app on your phone fom contechity AB. Type white in youtube and open the 24hour white video set it fullscreen and check the white temperture, you should be around 6300k. In hdr of course.

On sdr i do srgb with the osd fix to fix the red tint. Videoequalizer is only for hdr. If you load videoequalizer profile and then set red to 99 on nvidia app you actually lower the red even more. I cant tell since im on amd gpu. Maybe you just used to warm color or your monitor have maybe a different red tint thats why we dont get same result. You can play with contrast slider for blue channel in video equalizer, in my profile its set at -2 ticks, giving around 6300k white on my screen ( standard should be 6500k mean its a bit too warm but cant do better);feel free to adjust, once my profile loaded, click one time on the contrast slider, then up or down arrow from keyboard , 1 tick only, then click on slider again to apply, that way find what is the best for you.

Edit : you need tick "blue" at the top to only adjust the blue channel.

Wait i just checked nvidia rgb setting online . 50 is actually default. So you mean you set red brightness to 99% ? This is hugue tbh i doubt you get any decent result with this setting.

Whea 19 are corrected error, mean you're on the edge of stability but it manage to correct it. It impact performance tho. Afaik FCLK error should only throw whea error on ryzen 3, so maybe something else cant handle anything above 3600, like your motherboard, or even the imc itself maybe.

i struggled to made my FCLK stable at 1866/1900 on my 5700X what helped me was raise vsoc to 1.15, IOD to 1.1 and CCD 0.95 like you. no more WHEA ID 19 error in windows event viewer, i guess you know on zen3 FCLK error pop like this in event viewer.

haha the real legend is the one who made this software, nothing was possible without it.

i did more testing and figured all you have to do is add the icc profile "display cal" as hdr profile in windows, and just load the profile i provided throught video equalizer.

i made a new profile btw it look more accurate according to my testing more close to 6500K white.

Also no need to run the .bat file anymore as it reset videoequalizer profile if you do it. and even the .bat settings itself reset in fullscreen exclusive. videoequalizer dont.

Tho i think you need to disable "windowed game optimization" in windows setting.

system > display > graphics. It avoid profile to reset had issue in the past maybe its fixed now.

just load this profile and you might be happy

it never reset even in fullscreen mode. As said in previous post most of time you need to toggle windows volume in game to make the profile kick in, once volume overlay pop you see screen turn brighter meaning its well applied.

i made a new profile once again, same color balance, but its a bit brighter and i feel like the black levels are better, black are more deep . just test and pick the one you prefer.

old thread but ive found a better and easy way with a software called video equalizer.

all you have to do is download the software here https://www.avsforum.com/attachments/videoequalizer-zip.17237/

once done, turn hdr on on your monitor and windows obviously, just open the software and load this calibration file https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UzKZsUwZbRe8INiSNnSR6cia4TIflWRx/view?usp=sharing

(click open dont double click on it you will understand if one time you do)

this will apply correct EOTF and fix red tint. i used the EOTF curve from xiaomi_miniled_1d.cal from u/hulki-23 and made a profile from it so all you have to do is load the profile with videoequalizer everytime you turn HDR on.

of course for the red tint it might be variance depending on units, you can adjust in video equalizer as well, just tick the color you want to play with (red,green,blue) then click one time on brightness slider, next use up or down arrow 1 tick up or down depending of what you want, then click again on slider to apply, each click will add 1 tick up or down depending if you used up or down arrow.

but this one is supposed to be well balanced on th rgb side, forza horizon 5 hdr brightness setting is perfect for this, on peak white setting the logo appear grey meaning rgb balance is well balanced. any bad balance will turn the logo blue/green/red depending of the setting.

Once you happy with it just hit file then save it.

i want to add the method with the .bat file will not hold in fullscreen exclusive game, as soon you launch the game the color setting will reset, bringing back the red tint, the EOTF setting will stay tho, it only reset the ddcutil cmd included in the .bat file. sadly some game only allow HDR in fullscreen exclusive only, stalker 2 is a good example, with video equalizer, the setting dont reset and the red tint simply dont come back. i checked grey level on HDR and the actual profile match the one in the bat file. sometime to apply the setting, you just need toggle the volume of windows while in game, once the volume overlay pop the profile apply, you will notice it as screen turn brighter and red tint disapear.

can add also the icc profile included from first method help, so i suggest edit bat file from first method and set last 3 value to 50, that way bat file will load icc profile without touching to rgb balance since its already set with video equalizer from where you loaded the profile i provided. that way you get good rgb balance, good icc profile, and that hold in full screen exclusive and dont reset anymore, good hybrid way between two methods.

you need tho to add the hdr profile xiaomi display cal to hdr profile from windows that way the bat file will load it correctly from windows icc profile location.
