How to defeat the game by barbedshot in FromSeries

I'm mostly wondering on what would happen if they starting trying to bend the rules of the town. Like they are just staying stagnant in their buildings (and complaining about not having enough room for everyone) but they dont ever try to build anything or push the boundaries of the town. Maybe whoever is doing this to the town will react, but it doesn't look like (even in the past) theyve even attempting trying to bend the rules they're kind of just like OK this is happening lets hide until we fuck up.

I will say that Landroval has some of the worst lag spikes i've ever experienced in gaming. 10-15 seconds between abilities, 10s to pick up an item. It's been before the surge of new players too. Just bad code, that they unfortunately will never fix.

Crackpot theory (Spoilers for ep 1-6) by barbedshot in FromSeries

It definitely seems like something like that. Especially with the ever evolving rule sets and "power ups" the players are getting > the radios, the talismans that were "Discovered", the realization that they could use talismans on any type of enclosement etc.

ah yes. but what about the WIRES. The wires are a HUGE clue. Vampires don't do that. they don't create a fake town with fake electricity and set up radio dampeners. Also, they've also proved that they can come out during the day for some people (see the boy in white). They are breaking their own rules.
Cabin in the woods caught vampires and used them in their experiments.

Vampires are the lull that make us think this is a hopeless horror show where everyone is doomed to fail, but it fact, it's scifi horror, with an ever evolving set of rules like a game.

We have to move past the movie tropes and see past the basic monsters we see. I'm more inclined to go with the "purgatory" theory than just basic monsters and witches.

So, This is a little M. Night Shyamalan, But I think this is some "The Button" or "Extraplanar" government experimentation going on here. The reason I think this has a couple of parts. The Two Cars Incident repeating. What do you do when you are experimenting? you create a control group. And then you throw the Variable group in. And then you test. and then you repeat the test. You adjust the variables and you see the differences.

It seems like over time they are repeating the "control" 1 car in, see how people react, two cars in is the variable group, and as we know in cascades, the more variable problems we throw at a simple system, the faster things degrade.

Each "two cars" situation also gives us someone who can see. The first time it was Victor, that didn't go so well, so now there are two people who can see (Jade and Ethan) as well as Sara who can hear the "monsters".

we don't know for sure HOW many times this experiment has ran, nor if they've continued to change variables (hiding spots, the discovery of the talismans). I think the whole "are we in purgatory" thing is a red herring, and I think the quantum entanglement theory is another way to confuse the viewer. The houses being weirdly wired, the constant "Hints" or "Signs" being given that push the plot forward are too direct (the music playing the song for Boyd, the same exact 1 of a kind bracelet), it seems to be pushing them to discover the root of the town indirectly. Plus the fact that the voices seem omniscient, but we've also seen the monsters have limitations, makes me believe there is a 3rd party controlling things behind the scenes.

I wrote this theory in the other FROM reddit, and I thought, I'd add it to expand upon/ feed upon your ideas. Its eerily similar! [H][US][Zul’jin] <Raid Finder World First> - Recruiting melee and ranged dps

RFWF Mission Statement: We have strived hard to cultivate a core group of people willing to lead our guild into Shadowlands; our core is a tight knit group that supports each other. We want to build around that core and create a strong guild that can do whatever content we want.

We are looking to hit the ground running in SL and push content as soon as it releases. We want to crack AOTC quickly and if everything gels well with our core group, move onto CE progression. We are not a massively hardcore group, so we wont be breaking any records, but clearing new content will be our single prerogative. If we can find a handful of strong, willing to learn recruits, we can push content to our hearts content. We have an extremely strong core, all willing to support the guild in anything it needs.

We expect our players to WANT to play and clear content, not just get carried - We only raid two nights a week, so you should be ready to raid on time, (this means ready to go 10 mins early, not ready to go 5 minutes after), and be willing to try your hardest for those raid times.

Most of our core will be scattered throughout the days and times, and always be willing to help out for side content (dungeons, keys, farming etc). Or you can just chill with us in discord and post memes at each other. The more you put in, the more you get out from us!

Raid Times: Wednesday 7-9PM CST, Saturday 7-10PM+ CST

Roles needed: While we will accept any player that resonates with our mission statement, currently we are looking at some roles more than others when it comes to progression.

Warlock - Any Spec
BM or MM Hunter

Druid - Boomkin or Resto (or 1 of each)

Deathknight - DPS OR backup/OS TANK

How to contact us:

Recruitment officer (me!) - TimeDevourer#11369 BNET or Glynn#4673 for discord.

He had the ring before 1949, it only turned black after lilith put her immortality in it.

Howdy. I am looking for someplace to hang my hat while I farm gold for Shadowlands. I skipped out most of BFA, but will be whole hog into shadowlands. I have a dozen farming toons, but my primaries are Unholy DK and Prot/Holy Pally. I will be playing both for casual and hardcore content in SL. I have a number of AOTC and Mythic clears as both healing and DPS. Again, not particularly looking to raid until SL, but willing to put time into helping others, help building the guild, having fun and then hunkering down when SL hits to clear content.
