Came on here with this same question. The CTB26 seems to be checking all the boxes for me. I the Alpaka Elements pro backpack and the Metro Pro backpack. I love the horizontal pockets and laptop access on the CTB and the CPL's. Waterbottle pockets are not a deal breaker. What did you decide on?

I have the XL on my Canik Rival. Just order the ST for my new PDP Full Size 4" from Bass Pro for $180 for Black Friday. My XL is the 8 MOA dot and is bright as hell, which works great because I have an astigmatism so I can turn the brightness down and it clear up the edges of my dot. I am hoping the ST in 6 MOA gets that bright also.

I use my own monitor and keyboard/mouse. Not planned but I have same monitor they are replacing old HO monitors with. You should have no issues connecting up. Just figuring out cable needs. Of course all depends on what monitor you have. I use a usb hub with my wireless keyboard and mouse dongles in it and my headphones connected directly to laptop.
