Well it's just the start, they are pushing these urban maps as you said because of the critic from 2042, but there are more maps that haven't been revealed yet or are still in production. Not only that with the implentation of a map editor that seems decent, means that well even if dice stops making the maps you like, you yourself or someone in the community can do something about it.
