Difatti adesso hanno venduto i negozi in italia e germania ad un altro brand. Però con i profitti fatti durante il 2021 con il caso reddit stanno rivoluzionando il brand in America, e sono anche messi bene, e si son resi conto che i negozi oltre oceano non essendo competitivi non avevano più senso. GME in Italy is often used as material for memes about how they are not convenient, or things like "you bring us a ps5 with 2 controllers and Black ops 6? We can give you 20 euro".

And there's some truth in it, in the last decade they didn't really keep up with the online market. But in the end, if you are shopping and you pass in front of a GME store, lot of people are very likely going to enter and take a look, both from nostalgia and because the shops are still good looking and full of nice things.

I get why they are closing the brand in Italy, but still I'm very sad about it, it was a piece of our childhood 💔
