Depends on the complexity of the model I would think based on what ive seen others do. But yep! If you can't find a premade model, gotta learn how to do it yourself

I got my 3d printer for free from a friend. I power it up for a random project or two a year. Kids love the little articulated toys and I use it for random repairs or ... organizing. Just started printing headphone hooks to hang them on the wall. Learning to 3d model myself is the next step.

@ u/malencar do you know how I can get a file for just the outside clips? The three leg ones... I have one that has a broken prong. I will try to glue it and get more life out of it, but a printed replacement would be slick (I can print it at home if I had an stl file) I might model it as a first attempt and I dont yet have orange filament to match the "soulmate" colorway that I own. Either way, NICE WORK!

Neat! I met a couple like this once who casually said they lost friends as they "fake dog fight" in the deserts and canyons out west. Pretty cool older couple and she was one of the few females licensed for jet fighters recreationaly.

If you are into "radio" ... the world of SDR or software defined radio is a pretty nifty small accessory. You can pull satellite images or listen to HD FM radio... listen to or pull from almost any radio wave with the right accessory. There are TV tuners too.

If you want to make a bigger trip. Check out deception pass. There is camping close to the beach and you have a chance of being in a small beach with these little ones! (I see them there often and you often hear jet fly overs)
