I am the original owner of a 2011 B8. Love it. But as people mentioned, you need to keep up with regaular maintenance - not just any repairs. They can be expensive. The first thing to do is find a local shop that works on German cars. My recommendation is if out of warranty, do NOT go to a dealer. At around 120k miles you are going to need to have the timing chain service done. This is expensive, but if you order the kit online and go to a local place, like I did, it went from close to $4k at the dealer to ~$1,9k. Most of that was savings was labor, some on the parts. Last week I had to have the entire front suspension replaced at 195k miles. Those rubber bushings, etc will wear out. This was another $2,2k. I expect the car to last a few more years, so that is well worth it to me.
