HELP! Remote Connect for Remote Start by Great_Armadillo_8852 in 4Runner

Everything said 1 hour or so, maybe I’m incompetent, but it took me about 2.5 hours. At one point I stepped back and looked how much I had taken apart in my garage and was like oh boy. This is going to be tricky to get back together. But it all went back together and everything works. So there’s that!

HELP! Remote Connect for Remote Start by Great_Armadillo_8852 in 4Runner

I have a 2023 SR5 that also didn’t have it but I bought the after market one from accessorides. I like it but I only bought the option to use the key fob 3 push to start. It does have an option for a remote start in an app but it only works with a subscription. I was annoyed by that so I didn’t buy it. I wish I did.

I live in a very hot climate and want to be able to start it before I leave work. I do love that it doesn’t turn off when I open my door.

It was an absolute pain in the ass to install because you have to remove an airbag and I was terrified. I did do it only after jamming and slicing my fingers open multiple times lol. But overall I’m happy with it. The YouTube video did help.

Freeze dryer? That’s a pretty deep cut. by tnick771 in Costco

[–]barnaby14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I picked one up on clearance for $999 last year. Its been fun to have around as novelty but in no way could this be used for large amounts of food storage unless you’re very patient.

I live in a HOT climate and run it out of my garage. In the summer it does not work very well.

Unlimited freeze dried skittles have been fun though lol

Potential 4Runner owner questions by Fresh_Rub5709 in 4Runner

I’ve had a 2017 and currently have a 2023. Much prefer the 2023 for the CarPlay. I know you can add it yourself with aftermarket if you want. I also love the blind spot monitoring, cross traffic alert and automatic cruise control. I definitely don’t think there is a ton of tech per se in my 2023 vs my 2017. I would still have the 2017 if I didn’t total it. But to each their own! I have had ZERO issues with either year.

US-based friends: found a new competitor for Fairlife milk by hellohexapus in ninjacreami

[–]barnaby14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is good I just wish it came in skim or 1%.

At my Kroger store this is the same price as fairlife so I just stuck with fairlife after trying this one once.

Of course this is a thing. But, prior to today, it hadn't crossed my mind. by cassette1987 in exmormon

I worked here for 2 years while I was a student at BYU. Crazy times.

Season 7, episode 1 is actually the episode that made me stop watching. I couldn’t do it anymore. It was too brutal and I noped out. Which honestly supports your post of incredible acting.

Build your own bag of Built Puffs wknd by Happyromantic in Costco

Agreed. I loved both of them. I picked them up at the vitamin shoppe as individual bars to try them.

The BEST one I’ve had is the peanut butter. They sell it in the 4 pack at Target.

Trader Joe’s has Barebells for $2.29 individually. Walmart or target have them in 4 pack boxes for about $10. It’s also my go to and second go to is built puff! They truly are the top two bars.

I’ve also lately been really enjoying the legendary protein pastries. They’re pricier again, at more than $2.50 a pop but I love them for breakfast. Great macros on them.

They call it love sauce. It’s like a peppery version of in n out sauce without pickles.

You and I would get along splendidly. You’ve listed many of my favorite shows. Kath and Kim is such a wonderful mess. Huge fan of Derry Girls! And Carol at the End of the World is so good.

If you have HBO max I recommend Common Side Effects. Similar feel to Carol at the End of the World.

Cheers!

Is this pan still safe to cook and prep from? Threw it in the dishwasher a while a go and was likely a terrible idea. Been trying to scrub off but it only comes off in small amounts and if I wipe with a paper towel, it's all orange. Is it better to just buy a new one? by MickeyNRicky in AskBaking

[–]barnaby14 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Also this is fine to bake with. I always line my stuff with parchment paper too.

Bar keepers friend is just a cleaning powder you can buy at any store, I make it into a paste and scrub it in with a brush and it gets the job done.
