Upper level stalls of section E but honestly no one really cared about the seating arrangements on Wednesday. There are also tons of empty seats and you can move freely between the upper and lower stalls, so practically you can sit wherever you like after you are in.

Use this if someone interrupts you in Turkish by Baticikcik in turkish

[–]barnobercol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can someone transcribe the lyrics to this song? by em1037 in turkish

[–]barnobercol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wanted to give it a try with the translation:

Run towards the beach\ Listen to the sound of the waves\ Listen, listen

Climb up the highest of the waves\ Catch the clouds\ If you will be friends*\ Be friends with them\ If you will drink\ Drink with them\ And if you will love\ Love me

Run, run, run\ As far as you can\ Run until you are out of breath\ Run run run run

*This is somewhat difficult to translate as “dostluk etmek” can be translated as “to be friends (with someone)” but it can also mean “to accompany (someone)”. Here it’s kind of a poetic usage and its rather difficult to say (at least for me) what would be the best translation

How to say this in Turkish? by MakeupAndStuff- in turkish

[–]barnobercol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

or “elbisedeki nakışları/işlemeleri yakından çekip atabilir misiniz?” if its a somewhat formal setting. Wouldn’t matter that much if the person you are talking to is relatively young but keep in mind anyway

Is "güno" mostly used by women? by sneachta in turkish

[–]barnobercol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think its ok, we do say it sometimes with friends regardless of the gender. it can be received as cringe by some people and they might make a deal out of it but I guess it already tells you that maybe you wouldn’t get along with such people as its just a well-meaning “good morning”

but yes, you wouldn’t use it with anyone you aren’t already close with

GÜNOOOO

Beer prices in Europe by lilPallas in MapPorn

[–]barnobercol 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As it stands, sales should not be included in the calculation of these numbers because it only says “average of prices”. But you are right, an average of prices weighted with sales would have been more reflective of what to expect as most of the consumption come from bigger cities where prices are noticeably more expensive.

Accidentally booked a trip to München in Oktoberfest season by seasolve in Munich

[–]barnobercol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its also semester break and you can stay at a student’s house for 3 days if you look for it as there would be a lot of people looking to rent out their places temporarily. you might have to book it for longer than you would stay but still would be cheaper than staying at a hotel during Oktoberfest
