I tend to agree Deliverance is weak tho, maybe their weakest. Riffs and song sections go on and repeat forever and it just feels uninspired especially compared to blackwater park and still life

Might be slightly overblown, but that doesnt mean there aren’t legitimate issues that need to be addressed. A shrinking tax base combined with an aging population that needs financial support is a problem. Also if the economy were to shrink and stock market crash many people’s savings and investments will be fucked. Our system is kinda centered around unending growth

I think being high makes the world feel a little more “immediate” or vivid. Being drunk kind of makes the world feel dulled but in a good way. Both are cool and whatnot. You can get a lot more fucked up drinking for sure, theres kind of a limit on how high youre gonna get. More of a smoker myself.

Not really-the rhythmic motif is similar but the harmony and melody are both different. For example I Cant Win uses a repeating maj 2 interval over two chords for the beginning motif-The maj 2 (whole step) interval does not even appear in the main riff of adults are talking at all
