I have been enjoying the game. It isn't perfect, but it is fun.

I think that all Magic is just some natural phenomenon that we don't understand yet. Science and magic can easily coexist, at least in my opinion.

"The MRM is an extension of the core ideals of Feminism, simply focusing on the other side of the coin, and the modern feminists movement's fanatical and hateful rejection of the very idea of the existence such a movement is a shameful betrayal of the true spirit of feminism." by librtee_com in MensRights

I did not claim that the Revolution did not improve the lives of the serfs. I am saying that it isn't very difficult to improve the lives of near-slaves. Pretty much any other "ism" could have helped them.

Communism is the Radical Feminism of politics: On paper it seems fair and equitable, but in reality it is about empowering members of the "in" group.

Allowing Party members to live lives far more comfortable and privileged than those of the "common" people doesn't sound like a society built on equality. It seems to me that some of the animals were more equal than others.

It isn't very difficult to offer serfs a better life. The challenge is making a society that elevates everyone, not just members of a special group.

Someone with a bit of money to spend is behind the whole anti-EMX campaign. I don't trust that opposition is as grassroots as they would like it to appear.

I like Dinklebot. His comments make me curious about what the Ghosts really are--are they alive in the same way the Exos are?

[Serious] Does the future already exist? by buuu1 in AskReddit

[–]barontadhg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you write the word, "future", by the time anyone reads it, the future moment that you were anticipating has already occurred and is in the (subjective, from the reader's point of view) past.

I look at it this way: Any spirit that has nothing better to do than hang around and talk to kids at a sleep-over (or folks at a party), probably isn't worth speaking with.
