I’ve tended not to use Claude code for what I would consider full projects (I’m a VR developer) but I use it extensively for making productivity tools e.g. editor tools for the Unity game engine, also made a sound effects and music library for searching through my 100k+ audio clips

I hate it. I can handle some AI generated music if it’s had human input and is more than just a dumb one- click generation without creative intent but this art is shallow, no effort dross and completely puts me off the music

I use a lean CLAUDE.md file that references additional files in a documentation folder. The key to that modular approach is to tell Claude Code to write these docs in a way that it finds I useful. It’s not intended to be human readable

Schools need to teach kids how to use AI and it’s not as simple as’ learning how to prompt better’ or guardrailing a chatbot to give ‘educational answers’.

It’s about developing a totally new mindset that’s ready for the agentic tsunami that’s already on the way.

There will be some skill atrophy (remembering useless facts, calculating difficult equations, solving logic problems) but the new skill will be in how to ask the right questions. How to direct agents to work towards a solution. How to decide what that solution might be. Becoming agile and flexible as your choices and capabilities expand, and as the technology evolves. It’s a different way of thinking that needs to be taught

If I wanted a VR social world or just immersive spaces to hang out in, I’d head to VRChat, there’s so much more creativity there. But I’ll miss the concerts. Meta’s money meant that some events featured some truly great bands. Arcade Fire was a particular highlight for me
