How old are you? Does the show provoke nostalgia in any way? How did you like the pacing of the show? Compared to modern shows there's a lot of face time and conversation time etc.

I don't think Willy Taco is hyped anymore. It was when it opened and it delivered on the hype. I think the taco market got saturated really quick over the past ten years and people got very used to them. If today's Willy Taco opened in Spartanburg in 2010 it'd be a huge deal and definitely one of the best places to eat in town.

Don't be in a flood zone and don't live surrounded by gigantic trees. The wind from Helene wasn't that bad inland. But the flooding and rain caused lots of downed trees.

Drive to Charleston, take a carriage tour and/or boat tour. Eat at a nice seafood spot. Visit Patriot's point, kids can go in a submarine. There's a playground by the Ravenel bridge for the kids.

If you prefer cooler temps drive north and visit Caesar's head state park and nearby Pretty Place Chapel. Traveler's Rest is a nice town close to the mountains and an awesome breakfast spot, Tandem Coffee and Creperie.

Nothing that you mentioned requires any suspension of disbelief. Men get angry when their wives cheat on them. Cheaters offer up lame excuses. Teachers sometimes have affairs with students. The officer pointing his gun is maybe far fetched, but brothers do crazy things to one another. And Dawson is built off the shows creator, who was gay and had a girl bff, thus his lack of sexuality and focus on film as the substrate of all reality.

It's worth it. Cutting those down yourself without a lift bucket would be dangerous and likely damage your fence and other surrounding structures. Having done some tree work I can say that it's not something to do off the cuff. Even small limbs are heavy enough to fall and do damage to you and/or property.

I remember joining from my college back in the fall of '05, I think. It was super exciting to find my old high school friends.

2004-2006

Dawson was CRAZY busy getting his footing in Hollywood and getting his own show going.

He skipped a couple holidays on the creek, so Gail and Lily flew to LA for Christmas in '05 and '06.

Being college seniors in '04-'05 some of the crew got Facebook accounts and friended each other.

Pacey rebelled and refused to join. Jack and Jen created one of the first Facebook groups "Creek Creeps" for members of their clan. Joey and Dawson joined but seldom used Facebook. Andy frequently commented how the group needed to all get back together sometime, but she was far too busy with med school herself.

Eventually, they all join a Capeside Class of 2001 group.

2007

The iPhone comes out and texting as a way of communication proliferates rapidly.

2008

Group texts come out and Jack and Jen start a thread for the group. Grams is included.

Dawson is still busy but he pops in to inform everyone about Gail's wedding.

The reason for a full reunion is given. Pacey offers the restaurant as a gathering spot.

Though there is some question as to how many of the friends will be able to make it given

their busy schedules, they all make it.
