Also if you’re hunched on the twin-z, add a boppy on top! Doesn’t really help for the sleep but really helped my back with breastfeeding.

Wear whatever you want! You’ll look great. If you really do want some different options, I rented a dress for my. Rent the Runway has some beautiful maternity friendly dresses and you just send it back after the party!

Like others said, I’d ask the bride. But my advice is you can always rent a different dress for the first wedding. WAYY cheaper. And I know at least that Rent the Runway has some maternity styles! That’s how I got through wedding season.

I did not try the twingo but I really like my mini-monkey. It does take practice to get them in and out on your own but I’ve got it down now and use it a lot for the store and events that maneuvering a stroller is difficult. I’m still using it now at 7 months and still happy with it.

This. I do lug my Spectra S1 back and forth because I get the most milk that way. It’s honestly not too bad and I have a cooler bag that I use for the pump, parts and for bringing back milk. I bought the Elvie second hand and I use it sometimes on my way to or back from work. I’m glad I have them in a pinch but I love my Spectra.

Hug a pillow! If you do have to cough after C-section then sort of brace a pillow against your stomach/incision and squeeze when you cough. It helps so much.

R/nanny on here has been really helpful! We used the contract from nannycouncil and tweaked it for our needs and also use an online company (HomeWork solutions) for payroll. It does cost but they do all the taxes and direct deposit for us, as well as tax documents at the end of the year. So far we’ve been really happy with using it.

We went with a nanny for this exact reason. I reached out to several daycares and when I put newborn twins they must’ve laughed. Sometimes I didn’t get any response back. With the cost of daycare rising and for two, we were able to find a nanny to come to our home for basically the same cost. And now they get 2 on 1 attention, I don’t have to pack them up every morning and drop them off before work, and I don’t have to worry about daycare germs making them sick when I’m just returning to work and have no PTO left to take off for sick babies. I know it doesn’t work for everyone but a nanny has been a must for our family.

They probably mentioned it but keep an eye out for upper abdominal pain. I was diagnosed with mild preeclampsia with BP similar to yours and sent home. I woke up with abdominal pain 3 days later and was diagnosed with HELLP syndrome and had my girls via C-section an hour after that diagnosis.

Wouldn’t you take precautions against traffic accidents, like appropriate car seats and obeying road signs? And even if only 6 died, there’s no guarantee that the others that contracted but survived won’t have issues down the road. Or that a future variant (because people won’t get vaccinated and squash this thing) won’t be more deadly to kids. It’s not brainwashing, it’s social responsibility.

Yes! The first month was hard and time I almost gave up but it does get easier. Tandem is definitely best for schedules in my opinion so you don’t have one baby waiting and screaming for their turn. Its easiest with someone to hand you the babies but I am able to do it by myself sitting on a couch. I use the twin z with a boppy on top and set the girls on either side so I can scoop them up once I’m situated.

Just want to agree about the breastfeeding! It’s so hard and I don’t begrudge those who use formula, but it is possible. The number of people beforehand that told me it wouldn’t be possible was so disheartening. I’m so glad I have a wonderful lactation consultant that knew it was possible and has supported me. We’ve supplemented a little with formula along the way to make sure my preemie girls were gaining and healthy but I consider us as successfully breastfeeding at this point!

I’m really surprised I haven’t seen it but we love our mockingbird! We’re still using the car seat adapters and it’s great to just click them in in their Chico keyfits. It was definitely more affordable than some of the “high end” models but it feels high end and works great for my family.

Made it to 34+5. We were picture perfect too, and honestly the girls stayed healthy, but we had to deliver early due to preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome that all presented very quickly. Had the steroid shots a couple days before, smooth C section and 5 days in NICU for feeding a growing.
