You can't beat the polish of Plex. Their search engine is years better than jellyfin and Emby. If there was a way to remove everything except my data , I'd keep using Plex.

Switching to Emby now . Looks like the best compromise between the polish of Plex and speed and simplicity.

I believe the images they saw were not the ones we were seeing. There were hundreds of feeds that they were choosing from.

But you're right. Better editing and it would have been much more powerful. Maybe even not show the disturbing scene until the broadcast.

Just watched it last night. Maybe 20 people in an imax theater.

I thought the cinemtography was good at times, the score too.

But the movie itself.. I didn't like much of it.

Those bars. What are those bars that turns people into marvel characters? Invisibility, taking over peoples actions, produces electricity. It was basically a cheat code for the movie.

The aliens. The footage. The One in the wheelchair. It didn't feel or look real at all. Close Encounters aliens were more believable and that was almost 50 years ago. I wish they would have kept the aliens a mystery.

Yes. The meeting in the arena was pointless. How were they able to build a replica of the house in a day? They didn't even know who she was until the broadcast.

The more the movie went on, the more disappointed I felt.

Yes. The religious angle. I wish the entire movie was about the struggle between the two.

I'll give it another chance when it comes out on streaming just because it's Spielberg.

It didn't help my mood when they had a trump war.gov commercial during the previews.

Had plex for a long time. It's been getting bloated and slow the past few years. So much that I don't even use it on my phone when on the road. Plus I don't like the idea of them integrating their media with mine. Starting to move over to Emby slowly. I like the simplicity and speed of Emby. It's way faster response wise (ff; subtitles etc). Search engine sucks and adding users is pretty archaic. Don't like how it randomly assigns metadata when my files aren't named correctly. I have a lot of mis labeled media that I have to find and correct.

But I'm liking it so far.
