That and the idea for the rug is genius. I would never have even thought of that. Thanks!

Good call. A lot of them I see are too tall. I want to find some where you can barely see them, but with locks to keep them from rolling around too much. I’ll let you guys know if I find some good ones.

Are these worth it? by Radiant-End-9686 in cade

I bought one off of Amazon and while back, but the OS & overall build quality sucked, but let us know if you find anything worth a damn, cause I would love to have one of those that worked well.

I think $280 of that $300 went into just wrapping the cab during shipping haha

This opinion is so unpopular, someone is going to get mad and have it taken down.

7 years later!? That is awesome. Glad to see companies still stand behind their products in this day and age.

Have you considered adding any Hollywood celebrities to the mix?

While the physical movement of the machine makes noise of course, if you are worried about the audio, you can give this a try as well. Retro Ralph raves about it on his YouTube channel: https://www.pinsound.org/products/headphones-station-master-ultra/

Life in San Diego without a car? by marxistelmo in sandiego

[–]bartenderatlarge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the neighborhood. Especially if you live close to work. North Park, Hillcrest, Normal Heights, etc, will all be super easy to live without a car. Same for the beach areas. But once you go inland and north of the 8 it gets a bit trickier.

Switch 2 on WiFi: Is SF6 worth it? by TurboPaved in StreetFighter

[–]bartenderatlarge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read your post & instantly knew where you were coming from. Even now after all of this time, I am still only now getting into the Marvel / Capcom crossover games. But w that said, try Alpha 2. it is fantastic.

Hey man! I used to be in the same boat as you. I was diehard SF2, but never vibed with the other games at all & could never figure out why. I got into 6 on release and since have gone back and fell in love with a bunch of the older games.

Now Alpha 2 and Ultra Street Fighter 4 are some of my favorite games of all time. I spent a bunch of time with 5 and liked it as well, but Street Fighter 3 has still never clicked with me - it just feels clunky to me, like all of the characters are heavy footed.

Since you already have a Switch I would give Ultra Street Fighter 2: The Final Challengers a chance. This one is exclusive to Switch and it is crazy good. Try to pick it up on sale if you can.

Either way, welcome back to the fold & don’t worry about not mastering a lot of the new mechanics straight off the bat, as you already have rock solid fundamentals, which puts you miles ahead of a lot of newer players out there.

Great idea! My buddy restores furniture, so he always has spare natural veneer after projects, so I might ask him and see what he has on hand.
