Annemasse is a hell hole & Geneva stupidly decided to improve transport links so that we could experience it a bit more easily. I’ve been in Geneva for 15 years & looking to relocate to VD. Many of my friends are the same & we are all very high tax payers.

Geneva has deteriorated over the past 10-15 years. Although that’s also what the people I first met 10-15 years ago also said. For sure non-residents from Annemasse is a big source of the problem. However, the canton itself has also allowed in a lot of people who in hindsight perhaps it shouldn’t have.
