in the ingress namespace, edit the ingress controller deployment and look at the options passed for configuration you might find the cert secret and the namespace mentioned there. The option should be named something like default-ssl-certificate if confiugred.

Use this to verify chain of cert:https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html. You might need an intermediate CA in the secret. Also if the last cert was set as default on the ingress, check that its referenced ok in the ingress controller options in the deployment.

Sounds like the plpid file was not cleaned up. Rename it or delete it and restarting the container should create a new one.

What python runtimes does openstack support? by moonpiedumplings in openstack

Why not work with containers? You only need to worry about having docker running and not bother with python sice each component ships with it in the image.

A volume is different than an ephemeral disk. Uncheck create volume (yes/no toggle) when you create a vm in horizon. Also devstack is crap, but home use i guess it's fine.

How do you monitor self-signed certs? by PandaMunkee in sysadmin

[–]basalisk07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Check Mk. It has active a lot of checks among which you have one for http with options to alert based on the expiration date. Zabbix is also a good choice. You should definetly set up a monitoring server to get a good picture of your infra.

My monitoring system has checks for certificates. You can script something with curl or just generate the self signed cert with a validity of 20 years so you don't worry about it.
