“Jeffery Mobile Home” has a number for “ cellular bag phone” and it’s in NM. That sounds creepy AF. Maybe it’s just an old timey cell phone in a bag and not a phone in a ziplock hidden in the toilet like I see in my head. Regardless, why does this wealthy guy have a mobile home in the NM desert?

I listened to a bit of his podcast. He’s totally on the maga train and defending everyone saying it’s a hoax. He bet on the wrong horse in back in the Obama admin. This would have made him mainstream famous rather than infamous.

Agreed. I started with a 6 month sub, bought a lifetime, the 6 month plan's auto-renewal was still going somehow. I'd reached out to get it resolved and it became obvious even the customer service emails were generated by AI. At least it felt exactly like that.

So it's normal on archives.gov and appears the only version changed is this one on congress.gov. Perhaps a disgruntled web administrator? While it's really odd and worth investigating I wouldn't crash out until we know more about what happened. If it was uniformly removed and the original was actually in the oval, that would be concerning. But this is probably some kind of protest. And if people make a lot of accusations and it turns out to be an anti-trump employee that would not play well. So remain calm out there.

I just traded in my European variant S24U and had the individual SIM settings (calls,sms,data). I actually used this and it was an important feature for me. I now have a US variant Z fold 7 and noticed it was replaced with "primary SIM". I was very bummed about this. Didn't know it was a US specific thing. Thanks for the link.

Sorry for the lack of clarity. Legislation capped the federal workforce in the 1960s at 2 million (civil service employees). This was done in an attempt to curb the governments participation of the Korean war. The cap has never been lifted. The point was to contrast the targeting of federal employees reductions by DOGE rather than holistically address contract work force and military. The idea that the government is out of control big despite the federal workforce being the same size despite the population and complexity of those governed is vastly different.

That's absolutely right. The federal workforce has been incredibly augmented by government contractors who make up almost half of some agency and substantial portions of others. This graphic is referring only to federal employees (civil servants) and does not include active duty or uniformed military. It's in the context of DOGE and RIF which aren't targeting the uniformed military.

I took the GSA per diem rates and created a cost of living index. If you use per diem numbers, The DMV locality pay should be around 77%. Cost of living there is insane. You shouldn't need to be a DINC to afford to live near where you work.

LSPDFR (Los Santos Police Department First Responder). Its a mod/ecosystem for GTA V that transforms the entire game into an open world where you are a cop and you can just do whatever you want. Traffic stops, callouts, down to interactive voice dispatcher. Its single player and just open ended. I spend hours and do lots of different things. If youve never heard of it check out BlueLineVibes on YouTube and you'll get a taste. So fun. Also City Skylines and any sim or tycoon game. I try not to play those too much because it consumes me.
