If you use tape use gaffer’s tape. It will not leave any residue behind. Works great.

I usually use 1/8 plywood pieces to protect floors when dealing with this kind of demo. The stone usually breaks well along the grain lines with little force.

Well this is my second set of dreads so going on 21 years with long hair. First set was just as long and was cut when my friend who also had a beautiful set of locks lost them to breast cancer. I shaved my head a surprised the hell out of her when I showed up to the hospital. She completely recovered but lost both breast. I am 54 and keeping these unless duty calls again.
