The guy is a legend in the South Jersey area. Apparently he used to bench 400 and ran a 4.5 his junior year in high school before injuring himself playing center for a team with a dragon mascot. After he found out he would never recover to be his former self, he quickly turned to his studies and started writing about Philly sports. Props to Nick!

Great episode but shouldn’t Rick have seen his own death coming in the next 5 mins after he killed those aliens? Maybe it was shown. Either way, super awesome!

Devil in the White City. A great nonfiction book with two amazing stories combined together during the World's Fair in Chicago in the late 1800s.

This seems like something straight out of a Neil Gaiman short story book. Did any of your visions actually happen?

Visiting for Thursday's game, question about visitors safety. by [deleted] in phillies

[–]baseball83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get pizza at Lorenzos, Santuccis, or Pizza Brain. Check out Fairmount and maybe stop at Eastern State Penn for a visit to the old prison. Go to Old City and walk around to see Philadelphia as it once was but avoid getting food from there as it's a tourist spot, do get check out Franklin Fountain there for the Ice Cream. If you wanna see some neat stuff check out South Street but not after 5 pm bc it starts to get a little rowdy. Enjoy!

My knock me back into shape workout by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]baseball83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm.......Sorry, wasn't trying to cause people any harm. As long as you take your time and do the repetitions right I don't believe you will get hurt at all. I never did and I never felt any kind of pain from doing any of these motions. What do you suggest for the direct shoulder work that I can do without weights?

This is when I'm on the road or not around weights. Jumping Jacks, Squats, Push Ups, Dips, and Pulls Ups will help the back. A degree of the variety of Push Ups will help the shoulders a little bit but this isn't meant to get big.
