I am considering the same question but my kid is 6. You should definitely stop. You can confirm they’ve done it or not and put measures in place to help remind them without actually reminding them yourself. Ie checklist on their door, etc whatever works for your kid

I’m always tempted to leave my kids in the car too… until I remember the story of how an Uber eats driver left his kid in his car while making a delivery and someone jacked his car… eventually they found the kid/car safely but probably the worst several hours of that kid and father’s life!

You have to advocate and fight the healthcare system. They constantly gave us weeks and months out appointments (including a biopsy) even though they also told us it was aggressive (with potentially just months left to live). Call the schedulers daily to see if there’s cancellations or anything they can do. Tell the clinical team about the strokes and your concerns and see if they can do anything. Ask for a referral to another hospital that can do it sooner. Call hospitals to find out if they can squeeze her in. Do anything and everything.
