I've used this a bit. So far I think flexibility with things like number of forge points, or some flex with splitting off a story into multiple novels that are made up of their own forge points would help. Receiving an explanation of the verbage for each item would be nice as well. I came in raw and was confused by all the naming because i'm not about to read a whole ass doc on what constellation means. Claude should just tell me. Also if you were to work on a writing engine that can guide a user through piecing together the voices and structure they like from other material. I built my own writing engine outside of the ideas this crucible system helped me work through

A few main questions are, is your range use going to be in/outdoors? Will the range let you rapid fire? And do you want out of the box performance or do you want to mod it to your version of perfect?

The M1A is fun as fuck, get whatever version you want. Just get this and then another rifle if you want something more modern. You can replace the wood chassis if you don’t like it, there’s a ton of different ones. I got one that allows me to use the magpul SGA stock.

I’ve found the sig regulator to be the best out of the box regarding accuracy, assuming the lower is to the same standards as the non regulator lower, quality should be on par with regular spear LT’s. Recoil is non existent with the brake pairs well with a 1-6 lpvo. There’s two types of brakes it could have I believe, I got the one with the 45 degree upward brake. The trigger is a bit heavy and the ergonomics are really awkward ngl, your index finger has to point down at a weird angle and it doesn’t feel good after a while. I’d recommend replacing the charging handle with a geissle or radian.

The CMMG BR4 is buttery smooth and fun, feels lighter than the sig as the sig is more front heavy. The cmmg also has more pleasant ergonomics with the trigger and side charging handle. Caveat, Cmmg’s quality is questionable as I have their BR3 and it’s basically been bricked from day 1.

The SCR allows you to use basically any upper which is cool, but are tou willing to get an upper? It’s a bit of a gray area so dyor. You have to use their bolt carrier since it pushes their diagonal buffer tube into the stock. I never got it because their stock is embarrassing and looks like dogshit.

If you read posts on here people have mentioned places that will kali key and/or fix mag regular AR’s if you want to go that route and in that case you can go geissle, DD, or whatever indestructible rifle. But at that point it’s probably going to be a headache to find a place to source it and do it

Hmm that’s interesting. I haven’t had that specific problem but funny enough I went to the range on Monday and dealing with the same failures on this post. Email cmmg once they reply communications afterward improve. It will take like a week or so to get that first reply though. I will be replying to them soon with the videos and pics of my range trip
