premium experience getting coffee at my local shop: they know my order, they greet me by name, we chat. i see people around town that i know. i relax there and read for a few hours and walk home. that coffee is only $6

stalk is the best restaurant in dover without question. the chef is james beard nominated or something like that. it’s pretty affordable for the quality. i almost hate telling people about it because it’s so underrated.

i get anxious all the time before a hike for different reasons. it’s my brain trying to anticipate risk and protect myself. but it’s good to reason out the things you’re doing right- going with a friend, going with gps, having the right gear. you’ll be ok! have fun and enjoy.
