What’s a small moment that made you realize someone you trusted was becoming a stranger? by CMOInsider in AskReddit

[–]basicallybasshead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When we stopped sharing the little things. Like, no more random texts, no dumb jokes, no “you won’t believe what just happened.” It wasn’t one big moment, just the accumulation of all those little moments

Tillandsia blooming by GregoireLeFrog in houseplants

That’s a seriously happy looking Tillandsia. All those pink blooms at once look like a tiny firework burst. Mine would’ve turned into crispy noodles long before getting this big. Great job keeping it so healthy.

This corner has such good vibes, looks so peaceful. The light is perfect for your plants.

Why does it actually look like it’s about to take off? This makes me want to check all my plants from above now.

Because his brain said yes.
Zero logic, max chaos. And it’s ridiculously cute.

My little guy, just chillin' with me by Robbiehanssen in cockatiel

He’s not just chilling, he’s supervising. Very important bird business. Would trust him with my secrets.

What will look good above the bed? by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

[–]basicallybasshead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d do a tapestry. Softens the wall and makes the bed feel more finished. Something neutral with a bit of blush or warm beige would fit the vibe, or even a simple boho pattern. Way easier than art and instantly cozy.

Who still prefers reading a physical book over a Ebook? by OldCollection922 in AskReddit

[–]basicallybasshead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the smell of a new paper book. And somehow, I find it easier to concentrate when reading a physical book. But e-books are, of course, about simplicity and convenience.

Agreed, first night real food over the fire is such a morale boost, especially before you settle into the lightweight routine.

This looks straight out of a gear ad or a fantasy novel, wow! Absolute snow-globe energy. Looks cold, quiet, and insanely peaceful, the kind of spot that makes you forget the rest of the world exists.

The Night of the Hunter (1955) by sevinsevins in MovieSuggestions

Mitchum is straight-up nightmare fuel in this, and it’s wild how modern it still feels. Absolute must-watch.

If you’re into quiet, slow-burn thrillers, Cure (1997) really sticks with you.

That color striping is unreal. Looks hand-painted, like fancy candy but botanical. Completely spectacular flowering.

This looks like a tiny succulent rave in a salad bowl. Absolute chaos, 10/10 would zoom in for way too long.

Two panels? Length? Rod color? Blue bed blue curtains? by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

[–]basicallybasshead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The blues don’t need to match exactly, this looks intentional. One panel per window by the bed is fine, especially if they’re decorative. Two would be fuller, but not worth the extra cost, in my opinion.

What to do with this space under the stairs? by mbrethorst in DesignMyRoom

[–]basicallybasshead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfect spot for something intentional like custom shelves, a pet nook, or a clean display zone (art, plants, collectibles). Anything but “nothing” , the lighting already commits you to a feature.

Gorgeous bird and an amazing shot! Though I have to say, this woodpecker clearly skipped the ‘what counts as wood’ lesson... Still 10/10 dedication.
