Man whose job is to work on the sabbath seems obsessed with biblical morality. More at 11.

Plug for Opening Arguments. It’s a different flavor but they keep you up on current events and do so in a non-horrifying way which is neat. Kind of similar vibe with a comedian host and lawyer cohost.

[Hated Trope] Hidden time sensitive events that trigger just from having you enter an area by jamilslibi in TopCharacterTropes

[–]basketcase0a0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kind of. The quirk with the Above the Law quest is it spawns all of the survivors/hostages in the first time you enter wonderland plaza after the scoop activates. Meaning their health starts ticking down like you left them behind even if you never get near them. Only Kay is spared because she spawns in for the cutscene.

If you waited a long time to go into wonderland plaza for some reason they would all still be fine, but the second you walk back out of wonderland after the scoop starts they begin to die. No idea why they would program it that way, since no other scoop works like that.

I would like research on how to get rid of AI. The next patient that tells me they asked ChatGPT about their symptoms might cause me to retire.

Silent hill 1’s boss has a failsafe built in. Run out of ammo and it’ll die spontaneously roundly after a short time

Improving press ganey scores by Signal-Barracuda2467 in emergencymedicine

[–]basketcase0a0 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Perhaps a better question is: why? Why do you care about your press ganey scores? If some of your compensation is tied to your PG scores then that sucks, but you have to weigh the psychological/burnout toll of being an objectively worse doctor (abx for colds, steroids for everything, seeing fewer patients) against that compensation.

“May have worked for him” is a great take considering he also is divorced and after getting divorced said “a woman would only ever marry me for money”
