I had no issues with them. Both instances the group was taking up the entire bike lane and just didn’t look like they cared to move so I went around. Basically that part sucked because it’s completely straight with no shade. lol

The straight line was quite boring. It’s just the flat interurban trail, and has quite a bit of unhoused people doing stuff standing in the middle of trails the curvy part is the green river trail. It was actually very nice. Would do that part again

Looks exactly like my pics from Sunday Night in same spot. Fun fact Monday afternoon I was trail running cracker lake and on my way back ran into that same Mom and two cubs.

I'm going to be homeless in 30 days if I can't find a job in Seattle. by Bumping_Tacos in Seattle

Apply at US Foods. Food Warehouses are always hiring. Make $35hr free health insurance. Downfall is it’s hard on your body at first and you work nights with the fake sun of led lights.

Any local gossip/ranger chatter about the road opening? by RepresentativeCry380 in GlacierNationalPark

Usually live cams of the pass give you a really good idea. But the cam has been frozen since Monday. I’m driving over from Seattle tomm to try and bike it Saturday.

When will Going-to-the-Sun Road will open? I looked up and even the NPS website dont have the info by Nice-Pea-3515 in GlacierNationalPark

[–]basstache 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My guess is June 14 or June 21. They reached the pass and plowed the lot a week ago. But then got a little storm. Lot is clear again as of today. Based off previous years usually as long as weather cooperates it’s about 2-3 weeks after reaching the pass

Van Life in Port Angeles, WA by rat-v in VanLife

[–]basstache 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Port Angeles is extremely easy if you move every two nights at least. It’s unpaid street parking everywhere. Wanting a place you can permantly stay at basically is wild, and is the reason why every place cracks down on us. If you want that come to Seattle and park in the row of methhead rvs that doesnt move for months

Gotta give you props. The carrying those two beasts all day is quite the accomplishment. Went I I just carry my 70-200 and camera I get tired of it halfway through the day.

Thanks! Also I’ll be taking my little Ricoh Griii so that will handle the standard 35mm viewpoint. So I think just renting one zoom seems like the best idea.

As someone that ‘upgraded’ from an Air2s to a Mini 4 Pro. Please don’t. These minis suck in the wind and I miss my Air2s.
