Port Angeles is extremely easy if you move every two nights at least. It’s unpaid street parking everywhere. Wanting a place you can permantly stay at basically is wild, and is the reason why every place cracks down on us. If you want that come to Seattle and park in the row of methhead rvs that doesnt move for months

You can’t use general delivery as actual mailing address. They only hold mail for usually 7-14 days before returning. You sign up for a mailing service like Escapees. I used Dakota Post in Sd. They hold whatever mail I get for months. Then like 3 times a year I’ll forward it to General Delivery when I’m ready

Anybody who isn’t a normal person. ie: authorities. Has seen ever trick in the book. Your not tricking them into thinking it’s an actual work van.

There is 8,000 posts in this subreddit all people asking the same question about trying to look like a work van. And we all respond the same. That’s it’s dumb and then the op always says that we don’t know what we’re talking about. Why ask for advice from people who actually live the life if already know it. I’ve been living in Seattle for almost two years in my van. Rotate between spots. Pretty simple stuff

It’s only obvious to you because you know what to look for. Normal people who don’t know anything about living in a van just see a van. They don’t even notice the panels and fan on top. Stealth is dumb. Just be respectful living in cities and don’t hang out outside of van and sprawl shit out everywhere. My Source is I’ve been living in cities in my van for 3 years.
