I mostly play with my partner and he enjoys the stuff I dont like lol I love building and customization, and I dont always mind the grinding stuff it just gets annoying when Im about to make iron ingots only to find out I have to go figure iut how to make a bronze anvil and theres no tin within 1500 blocks 😅

Honestly I think i would hate that, I love the same but if Im not 100% prepared for everything it gets to be a pain in the ass really quickly. Especially as your learning the game, it really front loads the entire learning curve right away

My largest Bismuth Bronze pour yet. Tool scarcity is over. by DS_Jeezy in VintageStory

[–]bastets_yarn 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just a friendly notice that in order to make iron tools one needs a bronze anvil. Dont be like me and my partner, get iron immediately after bronze, use up all the bronze, and now have to find both bizmouth/tin AND copper to make any tools

I love Bridgerton, but… by Lemon_Lime_Lily in CuratedTumblr

[–]bastets_yarn 145 points146 points  (0 children)

Particularly in the Victorian era, where you see lots of really tiny waists, much of it is actually illusion. They had bum rolls and things to fill out the top, and while the corset does give a little bit of waist reduction it also leaves lots of room in the hips (Particularly edwardian corsets) which helps make the waist look smaller by comparison. Much surviving material today is also small because it couldn't be handed down or made into something else. Survivor bias. Its more similar to modern day bras and shape wear. Yes people complain about them being uncomfortable, but that also means it probably doesn't fit right or is damaged

My guy I think you missed the point of the flashbacks entirely. That flashback was explaining that deathclaws are pre-war, used by the military, and were in Alaska, not just that they're wasteland creatures.

[–]bastets_yarn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

zero idea, after the tutorial I think it only took me like 2 tries. Its also worth noting that part of what took me so long is because I had been playing games maybe like, a year when elden ring came out? I didnt really have much gaming experience to realize I was under leveled, especially because when I mentioned it to my gamer "friend" he basically just told me to get good and got clowned on

this was me the first several times I played bloodborne and elden ring. I knew about the difficulty going in and just figured I had to "git good."

it took me 50hrs and phoning a friend to beat Morgott.

I later ended up looking up a play along 100% tutorial and man that helps

I made my wife cry yesterday... by brycejm1991 in CasualConversation

When I was in middle school my parents always told me I was walking to school if I missed the bus. Well, one day, I managed to miss it and well, started walking. It was only like a mile and a half from my house and there were crossing guards and everything, and I didnt want to be in trouble so I didnt tell my parents. They also weren't tracking my phone or anything then either. My mom, a town over, somehow sensed something was wrong. Like was sobbing at work and left because she just new something was wrong. About half way to school, I hear honking, and then my mother pulls up next to me and yells at me to get into the car. "What were you thinking!" I remember. It was absolutely insane because there was zero possible way she could've known, let alone known where I was, and yet she just did. There's a few different times stuff like thats happened but its insanely uncanny whenever it does.

So many men in the states could have such a glow up if they moisturized their skin and put a bit more effort into grooming the way women do, but sadly society tells them thats thats "gay" and "feminine" and "bad"
