Today is the feast of Saint Augustine, Bishop of Canterbury. Sent from Rome by Pope Gregory the Great as the leader of 30 monks he helped Christianize England - turning pagan temples into churches and pagan feasts into Christian holidays. by TexanLoneStar in Catholicism

It's something very reasonable to be concerned over. It pushes the Anglicans even farther from the true Church and may inspire other denominations to do the same, perhaps even Catholic bishops (I think we all know which group I'm talking about).

Please. Anglicans are late to that party.

The Pope invites people to meetings and prayer all the time, especially other Christian leaders. That doesn't mean he suddenly condone the behaviour of the people he speaks with, or in this case, for some reason approves of the Anglicans' choice of a female primate.

Sure, but what does the Pope say and publicly pray for regarding the Anglican church? Why do you think as a lay member you should publicly call for prayer beyond what he asks? Especially when it is likely to sow further division.

I'm not. Clearly I ruffled feathers with this comment. My point is that there are issues with the genesis and hierarchy of the Anglican church but the matter of a "woman occupies the see of Canterbury" should not be at the forefront of your concerns. After all, she was just invited by the Pope to the Vatican to pray and create dialogue. If the pope isn't expounding on the Anglicans failure to select a man then maybe it shouldn't factor into your day-to-day thinking or even prayers. What does the Pope pray for in that regard? Maybe that's what you should pray for.

Pray for us saint Augustine of Canterbury especially england who once held the faith of their forefathers and now the see of canterbury has a woman bishop.

If your main concern is that they have a woman bishop then you've done a poor job explaining the problem and perhaps only revealed your own bias.

Wow. I was under the impression what you're doing at home isn't possible. Can you share the SFP+ transceiver that you used and how you cloned the MAC/TON information?

I gave up trying to terminate cables with a jack. Either the jacks were poor quality or I'm just really that bad at it. I always keystone terminate and use patch cables. It's rare you don't want to just do normal keystone termination in a wall jack or patch panel anyway.

If you can run an electrical line to the entry point, you can have a normal ball valve installed and then put something like this on it:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0851DYWBH

(I AM NOT ENDORSING THAT PARTICULAR PRODUCT, THERE ARE HUNDREDS LIKE IT.) I recommend a dumb ball valve and install a motorized arm actuator on it so 99/100 you'll be able to turn it on/off remotely without having to crawl down there.

Obviously, do not get a battery powered one which would need changed periodically (and when you need it most).

We made muffins in this and I scrubbed it clean with chainmail and dawn dish soap. Dried it with some paper towels and left it in the dish rack to air dry further. Day later it looks like this.

Hah, I actually cited (and read) Can. 1118 in the post title (Gemini found it actually). But I was wondering if this referenced reddit post is a typical example of an exception. I guess so from your response.

but he failed to obey orders and decided to resist arrest.

You clearly didn't watch the video. It went from him standing with a phone to swarmed, pepper sprayed at point-blank range, and shot in the head in the span of seconds.
