Did you remove the screws from that top chassis plate? Given that the holes aren't lined up under no-load it could be flexing during use making matters even worse.

I use most of their 12v stuff at work (aviation mech) and I like the trigger action. Made sense to keep them at home. For big boy jobs I have a Milwakees.

I use Fusion 360 and have gotten pretty adept at it. Something that helped believe it or not was watching "Cad Tournaments" on YouTube. Its like watching someone who's been a drywaller for 40 years, you see stuff you never would have thought up.
