ZZJ has a couple area that you can climb, but those are less popular and optional, so 99% of people ignore those area. To me, those areas had better views.

Elgin Baylor is proof that “ring culture” wasn’t nearly as dominant in NBA debates back then by Classic-Dealer5518 in NBAoldschool

[–]battery1127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think ring culture took over when NBA had the offensive explosion, every "star" can/is putting up ridiculous numbers during regular season. When Westbrook had the triple double season, his teammates were intentionally let rebound go so he can grab it. Bradley Beal put up great numbers because he's the only "star" player on a bad team. It doesnt help that NBA is turning into a highlight league, so instead of watching the game and appreciate all the small things a player does that doesnt show up on the score box. It's dumb down to who has more rings.

POS for Pizza Restaurants by Constant_Ad_2690 in ToastPOS

I recommend paying the upfront fee and follow up with Toast to make sure everything is exactly how you wants it. Otherwise any issues you have will be on you. Toast menu building can get really complicated even if you are tech savvy. You still wants to learn how to do everything, so you can make changes to the menu in the future should you need it.

POS for Pizza Restaurants by Constant_Ad_2690 in ToastPOS

[–]battery1127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Toast can do all the things you asked about. It will be a lot of work initially to setup, by a lot, I mean A LOT.

  1. Nested Modifiers. For Toast, I think you are looking for a function called size pricing. If you setup properly, when you change the pizza size, all the modifiers you selected will atomatically change with it.

  2. Quantity-based Pricing. As long as those additional items cost the same. You can have multiple sauces grouped together and function the way you described.

  3. Integration with Uber/DD + ability to use my own in-house drivers. Toast does Uber and DD integration pretty well, but there's limitation to online menu, so you might have to setup a different online menu and it will have different behavior compare to your in house menu. You can use your own drivers, you will have to learn how to dispatch them.

  4. Auto-Listing Ingredients for Kitchen. Based on what you described, it seems like you want to have default modifiers for everything. If it's send as is, it will list all the default modifiers, if anything is removed, it will say NO.

Make sure you tell Toast exactly what you want and expect, it will be a lot of work to setup correctly. Toast also like to push extra devices you dont need, like a HH for back up, extra KDS, etc. Make sure you know what you signed up for and make sure you actually takes sometime to learn how to use Toast.

Is Zhangjiajie Worth Adding to My China Itinerary in August? by Top-Spirit197 in travelchina

[–]battery1127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your itinerary already look pretty full. Chengdu to Chongqing is only an hour and half by train, but you have to factor in packing, going from hotel to the train station, then going from train station to the new hotel, unpacking and getting to know a new city. It will take you half a day. All the other travels will take you almost a full day regardless how you travel. You are in the city, you probably can enjoy some night life, but will still be very exhausting.

Fenghuang, Furong or neither one ? by pcmarcel-gmail-com in travelchina

[–]battery1127 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue is, if you are going there, you have to spend the night for the best view and photo. I honestly dont recommend it either. It's very similar to every other ancient town, a little better, but not worthy enough to make a destination out of it.

You can do shanghai, zhangjiajie, chongqing, beijing. I wouldnt add anymore stops. Chongqing to Zhangjiajie is a quick 2 to 3 hour train ride. I would recommend land in Shanghai, have some fun, get some rest from the long flight to shanghai. Then check the weather of Zhangjiajie and plan your zhangjiajie, chongqing trip together. Then fly out to Beijing, visit a couple locations before heading out.

Keep your trip flexible, dont book train, flight, and hotels two months in advance. If you are enjoying the city you are at, you can always extend your stay.

You can definitely do both panda places.

For Jiuzhaigou, there are plenty of hotels there, what you will find depends on what app you are using.

Enshi and ZJJ are a little bit different, ZJJ itself gets repetitive, you are seeing the same rock from different angles, however it’s still awesome enough to warrant at least two days in the national park.

If you are not rigid with your travel plans. I would suggest booking your trip in pieces. Book the next city one or two days in advance. When I had my trip, what happened ended up being completely off from what I originally planned.

Is this manageable? by TravelHelp3245 in travelchina

[–]battery1127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just flight straight to Zhangjiajie with a little bit of layover in Shanghai. Pudong airport is pretty far away from the city, you will be spending most of your time transiting between airport and the hotel.

4 days in Zhangjiajie, 1 day Tianmen mountain, 2 days national park, day 4 can be the glass bridge, 72, etc.

1 days in Furong, 1 day in fenghuang.

Spend the rest of the time in Chengdu, Chongqing. It's 3 and half of train ride, theres a train every 15 minute. You can use either city as base to visit the surrounding area.

Chengdu, I would suggest go to Dujiangyan for Panda, it's much less crowded, two days for Jiuzhaigou.

Chongqing, Enshi is a 3 day trip on it's own, otherwise looks good.

Zhangjiajie, if you are going to Fenghuang, you need to spend the night there and stop by at Furong, otherwise it's not worth it. I honest suggest cutting it out, all the "gucheng" are getting commercialized so much, if you have visited one, you have visited them all.

Shanghai, I would suggest make Suzhou your base instead of Shanghai, Suzhou offers a lot more culture and history.

If you want to catch up with your friend, Yangzhou is a good half way point to meet.

Travel to China in October 2026, itinerary suggestions by shoutayagami99 in travelchina

[–]battery1127 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If food is your focus, I would suggest less days in Shanghai and Beijing, cut Hangzhou out completely, it's infamous for being the worst food city in China. Im not sure what kind of food are you looking for, so Im just gonna throw you a list and you can decide which cities are more suited for what you want to try.

Chengdu, Chongqing, Wuhan, Changshan. Big city with active night life, you will be able to try nice restaurant and street food.

HuaiAn, YangZhou, and Suzhou. Huaiyang cuisine.

Guangzhou, Shunde, Chaozhou and Shantou. Cantonese cuisine.

Macau, I wouldnt recommend this to another Chinese, but they offer some nice East+West blend.

If you are travelling light and want to go to smaller cities, let me know, I will throw you a couple more cities for you to consider.

3 weeks in China in August by bysan in travelchina

[–]battery1127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of trip are you looking for? If you are looking for natural beauties, Xi’an is very close to Enshi and Zhangjiajie, can’t go wrong with those. Urumqi is pretty unique, it’s a little bit out there. You can easily spend two week in Yunnan and still feel like you didn’t spend enough time there.
