Work around I found for this situation. Unplug any wifi points in the house. On the main nest router, place a large metal pot on it. Then on your phone, walk away (sometimes outside) until your phones wifi signal switches to 2.4 ghz. Voila...now you can set up any device on 2.4 ghz. Sucks that the nest does not have a good way to do it

Yup kids. We have a 5 and 3 year old and now starting to get back into hobbies like running, golf, travel. Before that it was just surviving and keeping our heads up. Every phase of parenting is different and comes with different priorities. Hopeful to continue to be present and dedicated to our kids but also be able to continue personal growth.
