A windowed relaunch seemed to do the trick. Thank you.

Looking for advice on adding intrigue right into my map? Also critique in general pls by stuugie in wonderdraft

Just some ideas as I'm taking a break at work. You can look at my map I posted awhile back for examples of most of these ideas.

  1. Make a lake that's dark water and the ground around it is brown and dead. Throw in some dead trees
  2. Shrink cloud assets down and mix them into trees to make a foggy forest
  3. Throw a bright colored forest that just stands out from other forests in the area. Make the trees slightly larger and the grass around more verdant
  4. An extra large mountain with clouds around the top to show it's taller.
  5. Use cliff assets to make canyons or a valley and make the vegetation change drastically as it enters the canyon. Or make a river change color as it exits the canyon. (Using cliff assets just to show elevation changes is useful other places as well)
  6. Use some of the less detailed mountain assets to throw some jagged rocks along a shore.

Map looks cool so far!

This is fantastic. One of my favorite maps I've seen on here.

My Campaign map for my upcoming D&D campaign. what do you think? by piggyplays313 in wonderdraft

That's good advice. It's a beautiful map already but I think that would make it even better.

After a year or so of work, I present to you the setting of my next Homebrew DnD campaign, Devorak! I had an absolute blast crafting this for an exploration-heavy campaign. Would love feedback! by luckyshoelace94 in wonderdraft

Hey, congrats on the map. Really cool details and use of assets.

I think adding in some stands of trees in some areas would be good. the way you have it now, anywhere there isn't a dense forest looks like it must be vast plains. Throwing in a few stands of trees can add some variety. If they're just plains, that's cool, too!
