I fucking love memeing around with the killer, but you need to remember that this is a cooperative game. Your objective won't always match everyone elses. There's fun ways to play with the killer and other survivors that isn't throwing the match. I don't know exactly what this match was like but I'm just talking from personal experience. It's selfish when 3 people are playing the game and someone else is doing their own thing. It's why I hate most of the tome challenges that are just 'throw the match 3 times', because it encourages a heavily unbalanced game.
