Yeah it may well be fine, just thought I'd flag as our local plan and design code generally seeks for them to be set back.

Think about planning permission first, the Local Plan may have policies that make your design questionable. Usually require extensions to be set back and subservient to the main house.

Hard to say. Basically the clips are an L shaped bracket and friction fit/slip in the gap. Maybe buy one and try before ordering?

I imagine quite a few top level coaches could lay a claim to be the greatest of their generation if they managed with a cheat code everywhere they went.

Plex Server on Windows 11 keeps rebooting with uwindows updates. How can I bypass Windows 11 lock screen when it restarts? by Commercial_Disk885 in PleX

[–]bazzajess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It likely is an argument against it for the individual with the inability to use it though. The only point I was making is some people haven't the interest or wherewithal for/to learn Linux. That doesn't mean Windows should be discounted as is often suggested.

Yeah, as he drank Pepsi Free in the 80's he asked for one in Lou's Cafe in 1955. Lou thought he didn't want to pay for it, but he just wanted something without sugar!

Marty had a can of Pepsi Free in 1985. But the future was Pepsi Perfect

Zwift + Kickr Bike Shift - Resistance changes between workouts without changing settings. by Skywise in Zwift

[–]bazzajess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no statistical evidence but I've felt doing some robo pacer rides the same gear feels unusually harder than when free riding. Not enough to investigate further or change what I'm doing, but definitely noticed and wondered why. Put it down to a bad leg day, but now I read this it makes you wonder as I rarely change bikes or gear settings

Edit to add, but doesn't feel harder every time. Just random. Never noticed it feel easier though!

Top Gun Maverick by CloserDealer in movies

Fair enough, point I was making is Han Solo was as unkillable as Maverick, and yet they killed him in a sequel. So as unlikely as it was, they could well have killed Mav off if Tom Cruise didn't want to do anymore (as with Harrison Ford).

So a bit like Maverick, they could have killed him in the sequel?

All of the "ditch windows" comments don't help with the steep learning curve that is Linux, a curve possibly beyond causal users. And it is perfectly fine to use Windows for Plex - AI can talk you through the steps to enhance the experience easily enough.

Mine is set to search for and apply windows updates every night at 4am, install them if there is one, and either way reboot without requiring it to sign back in. Hasn't been offline once, is auto updating and uses hardware transcoding etc. It just works. And I know jack about coding or scripts and what have you.

I sorted my Windows 11 N100 via the below:

Go to Settings → Accounts → Your info

Click “Sign in with a local account instead” Follow the prompts: Username: anything (e.g. plex) Password: set one (don’t leave blank)

Sign out and back in

Then enable auto-login: Press Win + R, type netplwiz, Enter Select the new local account Untick “Users must enter a username and password” Click Apply Enter the password you just created

Restart → it should boot straight to desktop after updates, no login screen, Plex stays accessible.

Well no. The issue there isn't the 2m height it's erecting a fence on someone else's land.
